10 Essentials For An 8 Month Old Baby
My daughter Tali just turned 8 months last February 10, 2016. One thing that I noticed recently is that there are things that she cannot live without. She uses these items almost every day and it makes her life and our life as parents easier. May it be the things that are used in our house or the things that we bring when it's a baby's day out, these things are consistently used and are really helpful for us. I will list down below the things which I think are essential for an 8 month old baby, not all babies are the same so the things that I will be enumerating below could be an essential to us but not to others. I hope that this list will be helpful to all the mommies out there, but as I've said not all babies are the same so make sure to be extra attentive on what your baby really needs.
1. Stroller
A stroller is needed by any family who has kids. We don't need to carry around our babies while in the mall or anywhere when we're out. Having a stroller will definitely make your lives easier, it is very convenient to let them just sit there while you stroll around.

2. Car Seat
Babies should really be on a car seat when they're inside a car. The main purpose of a car seat is for your babies to be safe as you travel here and there. If they are seated on a car seat they can't move as much because of the seat belts, accidents most likely won’t happen while the car is moving. Plus, you don't have to carry them all throughout inside the car because the car seat will do the job for you.

3. High Chair
To me, a high chair is an essential. It is easier to feed a baby when they are seated on a high chair. For safety purposes choose a highchair that has a built-in seat belt, at this age babies are fond of moving a lot. If they have their seat belts on then you don’t have to worry when they play and move a lot while eating.

4. Walker
Tali is now starting to balance herself as she try to walk in her play pen. So at this age, I think a baby needs a walker for them to be trained more on how to walk.

5. Bottle Organizer
A bottle organizer is very useful for an OC mom like me. Bottle organizers are like big lunch boxes for bottles. This is very helpful for us when going out of town or when Tali is scheduled to spend the whole day in her grandparent’s house.

6. Baby Food Storage
This food storage is where you could put baby food to-go. Since babies are not like us who can eat anything from a restaurant when out, it is safe to just bring their own food. Each small tupperware-like baby food storage that I got from mothercare can store enough food for one meal.

7. Baby Weaning Bowls
I got these bowls from mothercare as well. Can you tell? I am a fan of mothercare. LOL! I bought Tali her own bowls for hygienic purposes. And when the time comes, that she can already eat on her own these bowls will not break since they are made out of plastic.

8. Baby Feeding Spoons
This rubber feeding spoon from Avent is a really good spoon for babies. Especially when they are just starting to eat solid food, this spoon won't hurt their gums since it is really very soft.

9. Drinking Cup
This pink tommee tippee drinking cup looks really cute that's why I bought one for Tali. These kinds of cups are baby training glasses, so I'd say that this is an essential. However this brand looks really nice and cute but it’s hard for her to sip on it. So we don't use it as much or we tend to remove the lid and help her drink on it just like a regular glass.

10. Leap Frog Toys
Tali loves her leap frog toys. It is something that she can play with and learn at the same time. I love how their toys are very educational, it teaches the alphabet, numbers and shapes. It even plays some nursery rhymes too! Lately, I noticed how Tali hums together with the toy when a song is being played, she also dance along with it too! Two thumbs up for leap frog toys!
