Tali's Shabby Chic Christening Party

This post is already a week late! I've been trying to find some time to update my blog, and now it's already 2:00 am here in Manila and this is the only time that I found myself free, not doing anything and still has the energy to blog.

Last Saturday was Tali's christening. If you have been reading my blog, you probably know that I have been preparing for this for more than a month now. Everything was DIY! So it was very tiring and really exhausting, but I think it was all worth it! I custom made some soaps that are shaped like cupcakes as souvenir for the guests. I went all the way to divisoria to buy some party needs and all food that was served are homemade! Thanks to grandma who cooked the pasta and thank you tita for the baked fish. We also ordered some homemade food at homemadefoodstuff.com.

Cake and cupcakes are customized by Delamor Sweet Treats.

I can't take all the credit for this DIY party, my boyfriend and my cousins helped me out to set up the venue. They are the ones who put up the balloons and set up all the tables and chairs for the party. Everything in the party was pink! I didn't want it to be princess pink, it was more like a shabby chic pink. Not too girly, but just right!

I would like to special mention all the ninangs and ninongs for the support you have given me, Bam and our daughter Tali. Thank you for the useful gifts you have provided her, I hope you guys will really be a second parent to Tali. And also, guys seriously! Please don't be MIA every Christmas. LOL!
