My Very Own Buffalo Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken wings
4 eggs
Cooking oil
Crispy fry breading
Dairy cream butter
Lee kum kee fine chili sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Vinegar
Sugar
Instructions:
1. From the freezer, clean the chicken wings with tap water. While waiting for the ice to melt, start preparing all the ingredients. Beat all 4 eggs in a bowl, then open about 3 bags of Crispy fry breading and place it on another bowl.
2. After cleaning the chicken, dip all the chicken wings in the egg. Gently shake off any excess and then lay it on the bread crumbs. Make sure all the parts of the chicken are covered.
3. Heat the cooking oil in a large pot for about 8-10 minutes for deep frying. When all the chickens are completely covered with bread crumbs, start deep frying.
4. While waiting for all the chicken to cook, start preparing the buffalo wing sauce. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a small pot on a very low heat. Add the whole medium bottle of Lee kum kee fine chili sauce when the butter is completely melted. Mix together. Start adding 1 table spoon of worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup of vinegar. Keep stirring until everything is completely mixed. Avoid over cooking the butter. Remove the pot from heat once everything is completely mixed. Add a pinch of sugar to taste.
5. This time the chicken wings are probably cooked. Remove the chicken from the pot and drain on paper towels.
6. In a tupperware put the chicken and the sauce together then start shaking. Cover all the chicken with your buffalo wing sauce then serve it hot for lunch or dinner.
I am very particular with the brands of the breading, butter and hot sauce I used. These are the brands which made my buffalo wings taste so good, but feel free to experiment and use a different brand if you want to. Let me know of what you think about these ingredients. See you on my next post! :)
