Spicy Seafood Pasta Recipe

A few days ago I made my very own Spicy Seafood Pasta inspired by Ms. Gelli De Belen's Shrimp and Tomato Pasta. I usually watch random videos on youtube before sleeping and I came across this video from ABS CBN's Kris TV showing how Gelli De Belen cooks her Shrimp and Tomato Pasta. I changed some of the ingredients and made my own version of it. It is very easy to make, perfect for those of you who loves spicy food!

Ingredients:

1pack of Penne Pasta

3 tbsp Cooking Oil

1 clove of Garlic

Mixed Seafood (Can be bought in the seafood area of a grocery store - 1pack has a mix of small slices of squid, clams and small shrimps. Or you can also just by them separately.)

1 can of Tomato Paste

Wok Cooking Wine Cayenne pepper

Paprika powder

Salt

Pepper

Instructions:

1. Boil the penne pasta for about 10-15minutes or until pasta is cooked.

2. While waiting for the pasta to cook, start making the pasta sauce. Mince 1 clove of garlic and saute in a pot with 3tablespoons of cooking oil.

3. Don't wait for the garlic to brown, immediately toss all the seafood and start mixing.

4. When all the seafood is already cooked, pour 1 can of tomato paste in the pot and continue mixing.

5. Add about 1/4 cup of wok cooking wine or any cooking wine of your choice.

6. When the smell of the wine or the alcohol subsides, add the cayenne pepper and paprika powder (any amount depending on how spicy you want the pasta to be). Add salt and pepper to taste.

7. Finally, drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. In low heat, mix thoroughly until the pasta is completely covered. Serve and enjoy!
