Baby Company #GrandBabyFair

I know that this post is a little bit too late, but I would like to share this to all the mommies out there that are usually on a budget. Baby Company organizes a yearly event called the Grand Baby Fair. This fair is really helpful, especially for practical moms like me. Most baby items that you see in SM Department Stores are over 30% - 50% off!! Crazy right!? Baby Company's Grand Baby Fair is usually held on the 4th week of January every year. The good thing about this is not only that you can buy affordable stuff for your babies but you can also hoard some items such as diapers and baby wipes which you can use for the next few months or for the whole year.

Last year, when I was still pregnant with Tali we were able to buy all of the things she needs for her first three months. There are also some other stuff that we bought from last year that are still very useful now such as playpen, stroller, carrier and milk bottles. The total cost of what we bought last year is estimated P30,000 on regular price, but we just spent a little over P11,000 for everything. No joke. It was that cheap!

Now that Tali is 8 months old, she needs a lot of new stuff since babies are really growing pretty fast. This year I spent a little over P9,000. I know! I got carried away. Buying a lot is really tempting since everything is really cheap. I listed down below everything that I bought from the fair, and I promise you I got all of them on a really good deal.

1. Playpen

My grandmother wants Tali to have her own playpen in her house. So I bought another playpen with mattress, and the mattress is really cheap too!

2. Shower Mat

I find this very useful since Tali had a recent bathroom accident. She can't use her baby tub anymore because she is now standing up and wants to play around while taking a bath. This shower mat is really a big help in keeping her seated the whole time while in the shower.

3. Walker

We need a walker for Tali, especially now that she's already standing up and has been trying to walk around her playpen. By using the walker she gets to move around in a bigger space and of course practice walking.

4. Teether & Bottle Nipple

I hoard a little on bottle nipple for Tali's milk bottles. Avent is a brand that is a little pricey if I'll buy them on a regular price.

5. Diapers

I also hoarded some diapers since diapers in the grocery stores are really pricey.

6. Baby Wipes

Baby wipes are extremely useful during baby's day out. If you need to clean your babies fast or when he/she made poop, baby wipes are a life saver. So I hoarded some wipes too!

7. Toilet Seat for Potty Training

I am a little advanced on this. But at least I already have it when we need it!

For all mommies who have visited the baby fair last week, let me know from the comments below how helpful the baby fair was to you. And to those who have never heard about this event, guys you should visit next year!! Take advantage of the discounts!
