Insane Burger You Must Try: Sons Of Burger
My boyfriend and I went all the way Antipolo to experience Sons Of Burger. If you want a different kind of burger, burger with a kick, then this is the place where you should be.
In every restaurant, getting to achieve a good vibe through its interior is an essential. The owner, Glen San Agustin told us that he wanted to achieve a motorcycle themed restaurant. It is actually already obvious with how the restaurant's logo was designed, which is cool. On the left side of the restaurant motorcycle parts are displayed, while paintings of Glen's 13 year old daughter are hanging on the right.
Burgers nowadays are all about the size, the bigger the burger, the better! And I suddenly noticed that SOB burgers aren't really small but it's not that big either. I asked Glen about this and he gave us an impressive answer, he immediately explained that he wanted to stick with the traditional sized burger like how it was sold in America as a streetfood for the construction workers in the past. So it's a traditional burger with a twist, since every burger in the SOB menu has its distinct taste and each burger is unique with its special sauces and secret ingredients.
It is impressive that SOB is trying to give customers a taste of the world with just one food, and that is burger. They have different burgers for different cuisines, like Mexican inspired burger, Korean inspired burger and the one that made me excited which was the Italian pizza inspired burger. Guess what?? They also have wings and fries in their menu. And this Taco Fries is so good, perfect if paired with beer.
Oh and did I say beer? If you're a fan of Philippine local craft beers then there is no reason for you not to visit Sons of Burger.
