Do you know that you actually breathe in different kinds of chemicals for every spray of your scented air disinfectants? So why don't you go and make your own? You'll never go wrong with this all natural ingredient disinfectant, with ingredients you'll find just around the house.
Things Needed:
Spray bottle
Vinegar
Water
Steps:
1. In your spray bottle mix in half part water and half part vinegar. It's just as simple as that! You already have your very own air disinfectant spray that is cheap, super effective with out the harsh chemicals that you and your family, especially the kids can breathe in.
Vinegar is a natural disinfectant. When using this, expect your house to smell like vinegar for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, your house is odorless! No kidding. And for a house that is odorless, for me it is a smell of a clean space. So spray away around your house, especially the kitchen and the bathroom area. You'll love how your house smells clean, because it smells nothing. You can use the same formula in disinfecting your curtains, carpets and furniture.

Every house has a signature scent. And if you don't want the whole house odorless by using the vinegar air disinfectant, this is a great DIY for you.
Things Needed:
Recycled small bottle with a small opening
Rattan reeds
Mineral Oil
Vodka (colorless and flavorless)
Essential Oil (any scent you want)
Steps:
1. Fill half of your bottle with mineral oil or any carrier oil that you would want to use. Any oil will do as long as the oil is not too thick, for it might clog your rattan reeds.
2. Add in about 30-40 drops of your essential oil (scent of your choice). Feel free to add a little bit more essential oil if you feel like 30-40 drops are not enough.
3. Add about a teaspoon of colorless and flavorless vodka. Vodka is a carrier agent that will thin out the oil and help it go up the reed along with the scent of your choice.
4. Finally, put the rattan reeds in the bottle and wait for it to absorb the oil and for the scent to go up.
Don't forget to enjoy while doing this DIY. Be creative on your signature scent. Have a signature scent wherein your house will be remembered and a scent that your visitors will love!
