Just A Thought: Dealing With A Bunch Of Judgmental Catholics
DISCLAIMER: This blog post is purely opinionated. Please note that I am not referring to the Catholic Church as a whole or all Catholic people for that matter. This post speaks about my opinion on how I think some people are simply not good representatives of their Church.

I know that this blog post is kind of controversial, some may agree but some might take it the wrong way. Just to be clear, I have nothing against Catholic people and the Catholic Church. I am not even the right person to speak about the Church, the bible or God. I live by the saying "I'd rather be known in life as an honest sinner, than a lying hypocrite".
It sickens me to notice a growing number of people who is fond of using the name of God to cover up the person that they are. They use the name of the Lord in vain for their benefit, to make it seem like they are above you. They will make you feel that they are so much better than you because they think they are aligned with the Lord and they feel that you are not. Sadly, most hypocrites are actually the people who are active Church goers and are always present in Church activities. But the question is without the Church and without those Church activities that they religiously attend to, what is really in their hearts? As I see it, these people do things for show and don’t really practice what they preach.
I really don't know how it works with these people. I am sorry but I need to name drop a few Catholic organization which I personally think does not give much of a help or improvement to the people who are part of it. I once went to a birthday party of a YFC (Youth For Christ), now an SFC (Single's for Christ) member. From what I know, there is an age bracket for YFC members that when you get old enough and still want to continue with the service, they will advise you to sign up for SFC instead. So basically in the party that I went to, the celebrant and most of the people invited there grew up together in these Church organizations, some people invited are actually leaders of those organizations mentioned above. Normally given the background that they have, you will expect people at the party to be somewhat conservative but still knows how to have fun. When I arrived at the party with my boyfriend, all of the people are pretty much drunk already. Short after it kind of gotten awkward since I noticed that almost all of the guys in that party were disrespecting this one girl. This girl was trying to say goodbye to everyone since she needs to be at her night shift work. But the boys in the party were asking her to stay and was telling her to ditch the work and drink more alcohol with them instead. One guy was even insisting to give her a body shot and to my surprise the girl was actually game for that body shot! Haha!! On a serious note, what are these people have been learning all their lives in these organizations called YFC and SFC? I worry about the parents who probably trust these organizations thinking that their kids are safe with these groups of people having the hopes that they are to grow in the image and likeness of God. But are they really? And to the leaders who were at that party, what are you teaching your members?
I am not being a hypocrite here. Admittedly, I like going to clubs, I smoke a lot and I love drinking alcohol. To me there's nothing wrong with that as long as I am not stepping on someone, I do not disrespect the people around me even though I am crazy drunk and more importantly, I don't use God's name to cover up my mistakes, to hide the person that I am and the way I want to run my life.
There are people that I know of who are so active in church, who speak and breathe God in everything that they do. And these people I am talking about clearly doesn't like me because it was just so quick for them judge me by my lifestyle. I am not close to these people and I don't plan to get close to them. I am not a fan of trying to impress judgemental hypocrites. From what I heard, these people were so quick to judge like they know me so well by scanning through my facebook. Haha! Good job!! B*tch you're a fan.
