Beauty Benefits Of Honey

Honey is not only a natural healthy sweetener for food and drinks, you might be surprised with its good benefits on the skin and hair too. Yes! Honey can be applied on skin and hair bacause raw and/or organic honey helps moisturize, slows down aging and fights bacteria. Make sure that the honey you use for your skin and hair is raw or organic, these kinds of honey contains more nutrients and antioxidants as compared to the ones which are heat-treated or pasteurized.
Here are some ways on how to incorporate honey on your weekly beauty routine.
Honey Lip Scrub

1 teaspoon of Raw Honey
2 teaspoons of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
Mix all ingredients together. Apply to your lips gently using your fingertips, slowly scrub away dry skin and dead skin cells. Rinse with water and there you have it! Kissable lips in an instant.
Honey Yogurt Hair Mask

1/2 cup of Plain Yogurt
1/3 cup of Raw Honey
1/4 cup of Coconut Oil
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Put less amount of each ingredient on shorter hair and feel free to add more on longer and/or thicker hair. After combining all ingredients together, gently apply from roots to ends. Massage the scalp for about 5-10 minutes, then leave the hair mask mixture for another 10 minutes for better absorption on the hair. Yogurt is an ingredient that will give you clean and healthy scalp, while the coconut oil will leave your hair looking smooth and shiny. After a total of 15-20 minutes, rinse off with warm water, then shampoo your hair like you always do using your everyday regular shampoo.
Honey Avocado Facial Mask

1 capsule of Vitamin E Oil
1 teaspoon of Raw Honey
1/4 Avocado
Mix all the ingredients together, apply to face and neck. Leave for 10-15 minutes then rinse it with warm water.
