FACE MASKS:

Face masks in the market are so expensive. And getting a facial in your trusted clinic is twice expensive. Why buy facial masks if you can do it yourself with the ingredients you probably already have at home? Spend less by doing your own facial remedies at home and achieve clear skin with out the chemicals. Here are 3 easy, all-natural DIY facemasks that are really effective for any skin type.

Tomato face mask (to hydrate the skin)

Things needed:

1 tomato

bowl

fork

face mask brush / foundation brush

Steps:

1. Crush the tomato in a bowl using your fork.

2. With the use of face mask brush, apply the juice of the tomato all over your face and neck. Using your hands, scrub the squished tomato chunks all over your forehead, cheeks and chin.

3. Let it dry. Then rinse.

Egg white face mask (for glowing skin)

Things needed:

1 egg

bowl

fork

facial tissue

face mask brush / foundation brush

Steps:

1. Separate the egg white from the egg yolk, in this face mask we will be needing just the egg white. With your eggwhite in the bowl, beat the egg using your fork until fluffy.

2. Place one tissue onto the cheek of your face, with the use of a face mask brush, immediately brush some eggwhite on the tissue for it to stick nicely on your face. Repeat this step until your whole face is covered with tissue and eggwhites.

3. Let it dry. Peel off the tissue when completely dry and then rinse the face with water.

Turmeric face mask (to lighten dark spots/to brighten the face)

Things needed:

bowl

fork

face mask brush / foundation brush

cucumber juice

lemon juice

turmeric powder

baking soda

honey

milk

Steps:

1. With the use of a fork or a blender crush the cucumber and then strain it. We only need about 3 table spoon of cucumber juice.

2. Slice the lemon in half. Squeeze half of the lemon in the bowl and combine it with the cucumber juice.

3. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of honey on your juice mix.

4. Mix everything together until you get a thick consistency.

5. Apply gently to the face and neck with the use of face mask brush. Let it dry.

6. When it is already completely dry, rinse your face with the milk. And then rinse with water.

facial toner

FACIAL TONER:

I recently shared with you my everyday skin care routine for the summer. I mentioned in that recent blog post that the product I am using is a travel pack from Benefit Cosmetics. Since it is a travel pack, bottles are really small. One small bottle for each product really goes a long way, except for one. Sadly, I already finished the whole bottle of toner. And I don't want to buy another set of the travel pack just for the toner, so I made one for myself and so far it has been very effective for my skin.

Things needed:

bottle for storage

1 bag of green tea

apple cider vinegar

honey

1 vitamin E capsule

Steps:

1. In a half cup of warm water, place a bag of green tea.

2. In your bottle where you plan to store the toner, mix in 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of honey. Pierce one vitamin E capsule, squeeze out the oil and mix that in as well. When ready, add your prepared half cup of green tea. If all ingredients are in, shake the bottle for everything to mix well.

3. Apply the toner with the use of cotton, day and night.

Note: This home made toner will expire after a week. Remember to place it inside the ref everyday. Don't forget to make a new one every after 7days.

BONUS:

After weeks of doing new sets of toners, you don't have to waste and throw your green tea bags immediately after use. Used green tea bags can be an eye pack to reduce dark circles and puffy eyes.

HYDRATING MIST:

While I expressed how I love Ultra Radiance Facial Re-hydrating Mist by Benefit Cosmetics from my last blog post, here is a DIY hydrating mist you can do at home since Benefit Cosmetics are quite expensive.

Things needed:

spray bottle

1 cucumber

blender

strainer

distilled water

Steps:

1. Blend 1 cucumber in a blender until thoroughly grinded. Strain the cucumber then mix in your half cup of distilled water.

2. Place it in a spray bottle and remember to store this everyday inside a refrigerator. Bring this everytime you go out, this is something that is perfect to use now that is summer.

Note: This home made hydrating mist will expire in a week.

I hope you enjoyed this all-natural beauty products you can do at home. It is so cheap that all ingredients are probably already in you kitchen. Please note that I am not a skin expert, please immediately stop using these DIYs if allergic reaction persist.
