Pregnant Problems: Lazy Days & Stretchmarks

I don't know about you, but I am pretty lazy the past few months especially now that I am on my 35th week. I literally get up the bed just when I'm feeling hungry, and I really try my best not to go back to sleep after eating. Intense laziness? I don't like it! They say that this is normal since I am pregnant and the baby is growing inside me. So, I need lots of rest. But I'm not used to this. I feel like I am not being very productive and I really feel useless at times. I try not to be lazy on this too, but believe it or not even taking a shower or giving time just to brush my hair is also hard for me to do now!! LOL! Good thing that I have some errands to do that's keeping me busy. Aside from blogging and Soap Wrap Manila, I am also busy fixing a start up business with my lola and I am really praying that it turns out well. Having these deadlines of the things I have to finish before I give birth helps me through the lazy days. So preggy mommies, keep yourselves busy!!
Even when I feel so lazy, I try my best not to skip my daily routine of applying my skin care products after taking a bath. During pregnancy, women tend to have really dry skin which by the way adds to the reasons why pregnant women have stretchmarks. It's not the main reason for stretchmarks, since different people have different skin elasticity. But hydrating the skin will really help lessen the formation of stretchmarks. Always keep in mind that you cannot use just any product in the market when you are pregnant. Pregnant mommies must be conscious with the ingredients of the products they use because some products may harm the baby.
This is not a sponsored post. But the moment I found out I'm pregnant, I've been using Mustela products and it has really been working well for me so far. Here's a review of the products I am using:
1. Instant Comfort Legs
Getting pregnant will make you feel heavy since you are carrying the baby in you. It makes you feel tired from lower back down to the legs, and this product really helped a lot in easing out my tired feet and legs. The mild peppermint sensation makes me feel more relaxed especially when applied during a massage.
2. Specific Support Bust
As pregnant women, our breasts become big and swollen as it forms milk for the baby. And for some mommies, stretchmarks form even on their breasts because of this. Specific Support Bust will hydrate and help you with skin elasticity on the breast area. It will also relief tightness and swolleness.
3. Ultimate Hydration
The name of the product says it. It's an ultimate hydration lotion for the whole body. I used this product for a while and really felt the effectivity of it. But I personally don't like using this because of its thick consistency. It makes me feel warmer than I should when applyiing lotion. As a replacement, I use Nivea which is a much lighter product and seamless when applied but hydrates my skin the same way as well.
4. Stretchmarks Double Action
I'm on my 8th month of pregnancy and yay! still no stretchmarks on my tummy. So maybe, the product is really effective. Stretchmark Double Action is a stretchmark prevention lotion which you can use immediately on your first trimester until months after your pregnancy. This is to make sure that there are no stretchmarks forming on your skin even after you give birth. It's better to be sure than sorry!
5. Cleansing Milk
Yes! I also use some of the baby products for myself. The sales lady of Mustela told me that the Cleansing Milk can be a mommy's facial wash and/or feminine wash since the product is so mild. I know! Face is so different from down there, but trust me! It's effective! lol
6. Physiobebe
Another baby product I am using from Mustela is called Physiobebe. It is a no rinse cleansing fluid for the baby. It's so mild that I use it as my make up remover.
In my opinion, Mustela is an overall good product. Most of their products claim to be 98% all natural and almost all are 95% dermatologically tested. Plus you can never go wrong with baby products because it's mild for the skin even when used by adults.
