Pasta Recipe for a Lazy Cook
This pasta recipe is the kind of dinner I prepare during my lazy days of cooking. It taste so good that no one will recognize that you are actually not in the mood for cooking. In making this pasta be creative and put anything you want. No kidding! Feel free and put anything! If you feel like it will taste good with that ingredient, just add it in for that extra taste and texture. If you want to add some spices, feel free to experiment and add anything you want. But as for me, simple is better and all of the ingredients I'm about to tell you is probably already inside your fridge.
Ingredients:
Pasta Noodles
Olive Oil
Minced clove of Garlic
Minced half of Onion
Crushed Peanuts
Any kind of greens (lettuce, cabbage, whatever!)
Eggs
Half cup butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the pasta in a water sprinkled with little olive oil.
2. While waiting for the noodles to cook. Heat a pea size amount of olive oil in a pan, saute the garlic and onions. Wait for the garlic to brown and the onions to cook then add about 5 table spoons of crushed peanuts.
3. Wash and then cut all the greens into small pieces, then add it in the pan. Wait for the greens to cook a little, remember not to over cook. Remove the pan on the stove and on a different pot, melt half a cup of butter.
4. By now the pasta is probably ready. Strain the pasta and add it on the pan where you cooked your greens. Add the melted butter, then mix.
5. Add garlic powder. Plus salt and pepper to taste.
6. On a different pan, fry the eggs.
7. Serve on a bowl with the egg on top, then dig in!
